LH-RH [Hyp9] is an analog of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone, also known as Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). LH-RH binds the gonadotropin releasing hormone receptor on gonadotrope cells in the pituitary gland, stimulating phospholipase C to release calcium and activating protein kinase C.
