Z-PLPLA2 recognizes the 5′ region of exon 5 which contains the catalytic domain of human lysosomal phospholipase A2 (hLPLA2). This antibody has been tested to confirm the presence of hLPLA2 using western blot and cell staining techniques. Other in vitro and cellular applications are possible, but have not been verified by Echelon Biosciences, Inc.
